ADMISSIONS

Eligibility for GNM Nursing 

1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. 
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
     

2. Reservation:​

  • 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

  • Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy Note: Quotas shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it..
     

3. Admission of students shall be once in a year.
 

4. Students shall be medically fit.
 

5. The minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs.

Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing 

  1. Must have passed 12th Grade / PUC 2nd Year with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English as the main subjects.
     

  2. Minimum marks for eligibility in the above subjects should be 45% & 40% to reserved categories (Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe).
     

  3. Candidates should produce an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
     

  4. Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
     

  5. The candidate must be able to speak, read and write English well.

Admission Procedure
The following ORIGINAL documents are necessary during the time of admission.
  1. 10th & 12th Grade Original Marks Cards

  2. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the institution last studied

  3. Migration Certificate from the Board/University (Outside of Karnataka)

  4. Character and conduct certificate

  5. Aadhar Card 

  6. Income Certificate (if available)

  7. Caste Certificate (if available)

  8. Three passport-size photographs
