SINCE 1994

30 years ago, the society's Founder and Chairman, Shri. N.N. Kadabigeri, started teaching students with the dream of building an institution to provide better education in society. The initial steps he took, through his hard work, brilliance, and successes, encouraged him to proceed further in the education field with lots of effort and new ideas, aiming to provide education to backward and underprivileged students. With this in mind, he started Vighneshwara Teaching Center in 1994 at Vidyanagar, Hubballi. Since then, our institution has grown to include 5 schools and 3 colleges.

Our Institutions:

- In 1994: Established Shri Vighneshwara Vidyavardhaka Sangh at Vijayanagar, Hubballi.
- In 1994: Established Primary and Secondary Kannada Medium School in Vidyanagar, Hubballi.
- In 1998: Established Primary Kannada Medium School in Vidyanagar, Hubballi.
- In 2001: Established Vighneshwara Institute Of Nursing Science at Vijayanagar, Hubballi.
- In 2004: Established Vighneshwara D.Ed College at Vijayanagar, Hubballi.
- In 2006: Established Vighneshwara B.Sc Nursing College.
- In 2009: Established Vighneshwara Girls High School at Deshapande Layout, Hubballi.
- In 2016: Established Akshara Vidyalaya English Medium School at Deshapande Layout, Hubballi.

Achievements:

• Every year, we organize an Inter-School Science Exhibition for primary and high school students to recognize their hidden art and talent.

• We help young graduates directly or indirectly in obtaining jobs.

• We distribute free books and other essential items to students every year.

• We helped the public during the cholera and swine-flu outbreaks in the city by working with the Municipal Corporation Authority.

• To prevent pollution, we plant numerous trees every year.

• Since 2002, we have been conducting Health & NSS Camps in various rural areas to improve the standard of living.

• During the institution's 1st decennial celebration, we arranged Science Exhibitions, Health Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Rural Health Programs, and awareness camps for AIDS and Cancer, as well as Polio eradication programs.

• We have adopted numerous child laborers to cover their educational expenses and provide quality education to them.

• We have built a women's hostel in Hubballi to provide accommodation for ladies who have come from villages and other towns for their education.

• In recognition of all these achievements, the Founder and Chairman has won 10 state and national awards.

• Every month, we clean parts of cities with all students and spread awareness among people regarding health, hygiene, and cleanliness under the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" initiative.
