All young people should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow. But, right now, not enough of our youth have access to quality STEM learning opportunities and too few students see these disciplines as springboards for their careers by cultivating an interest in the natural and social sciences in preschool or immediately following school entry,

 

The chances of STEM success in high school can be greatly improved. School integration can help black under privileged students who cannot afford costly education as set par.

 

STEM supports broadening the study of engineering within each of the other subjects, and beginning engineering at younger grades, even elementary school. It also brings STEM education to all students rather than only the gifted programs.

 

STEM education often uses new technologies which will keep the child's state of mind in the same generation and get to learn more things which will help abundantly in future. STEM is no "nuclear physics" to be bragged about, it is the most basic thing that every child should have knowledge about.
